The Alpha team performed several services to protect and preserve the prominent Back Bay Brownstone building at 393 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston, MA.

Front Elevation
Aging sealant was removed and proper backing material and sealant was installed around the window perimeters. Step cracks were repaired and minor repointing was performed./p>

Side Elevation
A vine growth covered the side elevation with many roots 2-3 inches in diameter, which kept the masonry constantly damp. To restore the masonry to like-new condition, the Alpha team removed the mortar and repointed the brick masonry. Alpha also replaced masonry on the upper 15 feet of the wall damaged from the vines.
