Balcony Deck Concrete Repair & Waterproofing (Time Lapse Video)

After we replaced 100+ balcony sliders and completed the proper waterproofing, we updated the balcony decks with a fresh new look and watertight protection from the harsh New England elements.

The existing failed balcony coating was completely removed; cracks were routed and sealed with urethane sealant; and decks were coated with Sikalastic®-726 Balcony One Shot elastomeric polyurethane waterproofing coating system by Sika. This material’s quick cure time allows for applying both coats in one day, and the aggregate mixture already incorporated into the product virtually eliminates risk of mixture error. The finished  decks are attractive, safe, and well-protected for years to come!
