Challenge:
Water was leaking through the roof deck of the parking garage into the X-Ray Department of Southern NH Hospital.

The Alpha Weatherproofing Solution:
The Alpha Team provided weatherproofing throughout all the various roofing elements and configurations using advanced polymer, fluid-applied roofing technology. A seamless, waterproof, elastomeric skin with no fasteners, seams, welds or joints was applied over complex roof and slab details.

The Process:
After the existing roofing system was removed and proper surface preparation completed, Alpha applied an appropriate surface primer, and the new fluid-applied system was hand applied to the concrete deck, with a blown-glass in-mat form incorporated into the system to provide crack bridging and durability. A topcoat was then applied to form a monolithic, VOC compliant, UV resistant system that will withstand constant pooling of water without impacting the warranty.
