For example, low to no-odor specialty coatings are often required in confined spaces or areas that maintain high human-occupancy throughout installation, such as underground parking garages.
The Alpha Weatherproofing team is specially trained and experienced in the application of specialty coatings by Sika USA, Liquid Plastics, and more. For example, SIKA CarboDur system is a pultruded carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) laminate designed for strengthening concrete, timber and masonry structures. Sika CarboDur is bonded onto the structure as external reinforcement using Sikadur 30 epoxy resin as the adhesive.
Anti-carbonation Systems
Anti-carbonation coatings are surface treatments that have a high resistance to carbon dioxide, and protect concrete from carbonation by acting as a carbon dioxide barrier.

For rusted surfaces with old and peeling coatings, the Alpha Team can apply anticorrosion systems such as the RD ElastoMetal Anti-Corrosion System. This cost-effective and environmentally friendly product has a very long life-span and is ideal for a variety of uses, including construction steel, claddings, roof gutters, tubes, pipelines, storage tanks, high-tension pylons and more.
